Uno show culinario-culturale, puntata pilota di un programma che partendo dalla realizzazione e reinterpretazione di una antica ricetta pompeiana coniuga cultura, cucina e agricoltura sostenibile, per promuovere la conoscenza del patrimonio gastronomico e botanico del territorio, dal passato al presente.Protagonista di questo primo appuntamento \u00e8 la cipolla bianca di Pompei, emblema dell&#8217;identit\u00e0 agricola locale e ponte narrativo tra archeologia e gastronomia antica e contemporanea. L&#8217;episodio si apre con uno show cooking ispirato alla Patella Lucretiana, ricetta dell&#8217;antica Roma a base di cipolle tratta dal De re coquinaria di Marco Gavio Apicio. Fabrizio Mellino, chef patron del ristorante &#8220;Quattro Passi&#8221; di Nerano, affiancato dal direttore del Parco archeologico, Gabriel Zuchtriegel e dal funzionario archeologo Halinka Di Lorenzo, propone una reinterpretazione contemporanea del piatto utilizzando gli ingredienti vegetali prodotti nel Vivaio della Flora Pompeiana sito nella Casa di Pansa (Regio VI, 6, 1), che fa da ambientazione alla puntata.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A seguire, il programma include due focus scientifici dedicati al passato e al presente della cipolla bianca di Pompei, affidati agli esperti del Parco.
